Is Physics Science or Math?

On the one hand, physics is something studying matters and objects. It’s about natural rules and the motion of everything surrounding us. On the other hand, the number of formulas can make people think it’s a part of mathematics. That’s why the answer will be somewhere in the middle.

Some areas (like string theory) require more scientific concepts. Others (for example, multiverses) are more philosophical. These fields are still part of science, but their ideas need to be proven by tests and equations. So, it means that to be good in physics, you still need math.

To sum up, physics is a natural science, which uses math to check the theories and prove the concepts of corresponding phenomena.
